How Catalogues Work

Each item in our auctions is photographed and listed in the catalogue, which is available to view online approximately four days before the sale. You can download and print a Word-format PDF catalogue for your own reference.

New lots are added every week in the run-up to each auction, so check back regularly. Categories span furniture, Irish Art, Irish Silver, military medals, coins, banknotes, books, pottery, and garden items.

The auction house presents a carefully curated selection of fine antiques and art, with each sale offering collectors and dealers alike the opportunity to acquire exceptional pieces. The catalogue for each auction is made available online well in advance, allowing bidders to study the lots and make informed decisions. Viewing is typically held on the morning of the sale, giving prospective buyers a final chance to inspect items in person before the gavel falls.

For those unable to attend in person, absentee bidding provides a straightforward alternative. Prospective buyers can leave a commission bid on individual lots, authorising the auctioneer to bid on their behalf up to a specified amount. This service ensures that serious collectors can participate regardless of location. The auction rooms also maintain a mailing list for those who wish to receive notifications about upcoming sales, catalogue releases, and auction highlights. This direct communication keeps the community informed and engaged with the regular calendar of auctions.
